Hespeler, ON – The Shammies are looking to bounce back from a rocky start to their 2024 portion of the campaign against the Norwich Merchants and Tavistock Braves.
On Friday night, the Shamrocks will travel to Norwich to tango with the Merchants who have picked up their pace over the last little while and are 4-0-0-1 in their last 5 games-played. Previously on December 3, the Shammies and Merchants entertained the 180-plus fans at the Hespeler Memorial Arena by way of a 12-goal thriller. The visiting Merchants eventually prevailing by a 7-5 final. Andrew Harris had 2 tallies and 1 helper on the afternoon. David Hanley made 30 saves. The puck drops at 8:00PM at the NOR-DEL Arena.
The team will take Saturday night off and prepare for the usual afternoon festivities on Sunday as the Tavistock Braves visit the Hespeler Memorial. The Braves currently sit in third position (32 points) of the Doherty Division standings, twelve points back of New Hamburg (44). Puck-drop is slated for 3:30PM.
