Hespeler, ON – The 2024 PJHL Quarter-Final Playoff series between the Hespeler Shamrocks and Tavistock Braves continues this week as the series intensifies.

Following a spirited initial three games to the series, the Shamrocks will hit the road on Wednesday evening to tangle with the Braves at 7:30PM from the Tavistock & District Recreation Centre. The two teams will get a day of rest on Thursday before gearing up again on Friday evening, in Tavistock, for a 7:30PM tilt.

Last week, the Shammies were able to route the Braves in Game 1 via a 6-1 decision on home ice. Game 2 was a back and forth battle in which the Shamrocks slipped past the Braves in a 6-5 thriller in Tavistock. This past Sunday saw the Shammies attempt to claw their way back into Game 3 but were bested by a determined Braves club to the tune of 4-3 in front of 261 fans at the Hespeler Memorial Arena.

At the time of this post, Hespeler’s Andrew Harris is in the PJHL Top 10 in scoring with 6 goals and 3 assists in three games-played.

If necessary, the series will shift back to Hespeler on Sunday, March 10. The puck is scheduled to drop at 3:30PM should Game 6 be required.
