Volunteers Needed

Hespeler, ON – The Hespeler Shamrocks Junior Hockey Club are looking to fill a few volunteer positions for the remainder of the 2023-2024 regular and playoffs.

Please note that training and guidance will be available for all positions listed below. Home games are on Sunday afternoons, 3:30PM, at the Hespeler Memorial Arena. Each game day requires approximately 3 hours of time (2:30PM to 5:30PM).

The Shamrocks are more than happy to sign-off on high school students seeking hours of community service. Each gameday equates to 3 hours of service.

Opportunity 1: Front Gate Attendant – two positions available

• Reporting to the Director of Gameday Operations & Admissions, the Front Gate Attendant will ensure fans are adhering to the “flow of traffic” at the front gate and at the entrance/exit of the Blueline Club

Opportunity 2: Gameday Team Member – multiple positions available

• Reporting to the Gameday Coordinator, a Gameday Team Member will assist in a variety of tasks during the course of the pre-game preparations, in-game tasks, and post-game teardown
